Be ready to stay in dark, no power from Friday

The State Government on Thursday announced imposition of intensive power cuts.

According to official sources, the AP Transco decided to impose two-hour power cut for Hyderabad, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and Warangal. A four-hour cut is likely for district headquarters, while it was 8 hours for mandal headquarters and six hours in municipal towns. The power cut would normally be a heavier for rural people as the Government was imposing 12-hour power cut from 6 am to 6 pm.

•  District headquarters                          :  4 Hours
•  Mandal headquarters                          :   8 Hours
•  Municipalities                                       :   6 Hours
•  Panchayat limits                                  :  12 Hours
