Andhra Pradesh government has decided to convene the assembly session from August 18.

The state cabinet, which met on Monday, has also decided to introduce the state budget on August 20. It has also decided to introduce a separate budget but all agricultural related fields.

It welcomed the judgment of the Supreme Court on EAMCET.

The cabinet also welcomed the Supreme Court judgement on the EAMCET. It has also discussed about the provision of special powers to the governor. Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu explained the ministers the clauses related to the subject in AP Reorganisation Act – 2014.

AP cabinet decided to write a letter to the central government seeking clarity on 8th,9th and 10th schedules in the act.

As per the decision of the cabinet, a special officer will be appointed for the seven mandals that were added to Andhra Pradesh recently.

Chandrababu asked the ministers not to talk irresponsibly on the formation of the capital.

He also advised the ministers to try to get a grip on their ministries.
