Baahubali-2 Breaks Box Office Collections, Mints Rs 150 Crore On First Day

Magnum opus Baahubali-2, which created huge expectations in the audience before its release, has crossed Rs 150 crore on the very first day of its release. The film has been released in 6500 screens nation-wide on Friday.

According to the trade analysts, the film is expected to cross Rs 1000 crore setting all time record in the Indian film industry. The film collected Rs125 crore in India and Rs50 crore in overseas. As per the reports, the collection in Telugu states is Rs 55 crore, Hindi-Rs 38 crore, Karnataka-Rs 12 crore, Tamil Nadu-Rs 11 crore and Kerala-Rs 9 crore.

On the very first day of its release Baahubali-2 surpassed first day collections of Dangal Rs 29 crore and Sultan Rs 36 crore.

However, there is also an unofficial report that the film has crossed Rs 180 crore.
