Autopsy Conducted On Telangana Man’s Body After Family Claims Clinical Trials Caused His Death
Karimnagar: An autopsy was conducted on Vangara Nagaraju's body by the Forensic Science Laboratory team on Monday after his family alleged clinical trials led to his death.
The team arrived from Hyderabad at Nagampet village in Jammikunta mandal and exhumed his body, said circle inspector Prashanth Reddy.
Nagaraju died on June 2 and his family initially thought he died of a heat stroke but later they found an agreement according to which he took part in a clinical trial of a drug in Bengaluru.
"He never disclosed that he took part in clinical trials but when we saw some documents at home, we realized he was involved in clinical drug trials. He never suffered from any ailment,” said Nagaraju's son Vangara Jagdish.

Jagdish along with his relatives went to Bengaluru's Lotus Labs to meet the officials at the lab who assured them to compensate with Rs19,000 along with travel cost to the place.
“They are not answering properly when asked about other compensation like insurance, for my father's death," rues Jagdish. The deceased is survived by wife and three children who are yet to come to terms about his death
