ATM Psycho suspected to be behind another murder in Anantapur
An unidentified man brutally murdered a woman, Lalitha, and burgled her house in Gutturu of Penukonda mandal in Anantapur district on Friday.
According to reports, Lalitha, who is a Accredited social health activist (ASHAs) worker, was stabbed in the neck, and stab wounds have been noticed on her face and hands as well. The attacker then slit Lalitha's throat, to stop her from screaming and fled with her gold ornaments.
She was rushed to a nearby government Hospital at Penugonda, where doctors declared her, brought dead. The Penugonda police have started an investigation.
Clues found during the investigation led to the suspicion that the man who had attacked a woman in a Bangalore ATM, with a machete is behind this crime, as well. Soon, Bangalore and Anantapur police reached the spot. Special teams have also been formed to nab the culprit.
