ATM contractor killed, Rs 7 crore stolen

Some unidentified miscreants allegedly killed one ATM contractor, who was filling money into ATM centres and decamped with Rs 7 crore from his possession. This incident took place in the SBI ATM located near Rajahmundry Arts College on Monday.
Police have launched a hunt to nab the culprits. Sources said that the CCTV footage of the ATM is being examined and the local security guards of the locality have been interrogated.
