Ashtami fears keep Babu away from announcing capital site
The key announcement on the new capital of Andhra Pradesh did not come on Tuesday. In fact, anticiption was in the air over the announcement.
The AP government had earlier indicated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would make an announcement on the issue of capital. However, the much hyped announcment has however been deferred. Now has to wait till Thursday for Chandrababu to make an announcement.
Chandrababu reportedly preferred deferment as Tuesday is Ashtami, which is considered inauspicious.
Also Leader of Opposition Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy is not present in the assembly on Tuesday, which happens to be YSR's death anniversary day.
It may be recalled that Chandrababu had announced in the cabinet meeting that the capital would be set up between Krishna and Guntur districts only ignoring the recommendations of Sivaramakrishnan Committee.
