As TDP dithers, capital woes continue for AP

Ambiguity over the location of the capital of Andhra Pradesh still continues.

Deputy Chief Minister K. E. Krishnamurthy on Wednesday said there was no clarity so far on the location of AP's capital. Speaking to media, KE said that everyday, a new place is being touted as the possible capital. He had also said that land for the capital is not available at one single place.

Stating that the land acquisition has become a great problem for them, the Deputy CM revealed that the Government was considering to acquire the land in the ratio of 55:45 between the government and the farmers.

He has also said that apart from the capital, they are planing to develop 7 smart cities.
He further said that the income from the registrations fell down sharply in Andhra Pradesh.
