APCPDCL engineer held for bribery
An assistant engineer of Andhra Pradesh Power Distribution Corporation (APCPDCL) was today arrested from Mahabubnagar for allegedly taking Rs 8,000 bribe in return for official favour, ACB officials said.
Kothur section Assistant Engineer (Operations) Sulegama Ravi Kumar was by ACB sleuths at his office while he was accepting Rs 8,000 towards illegal gratification from the complainant for granting his sanction in replacing an old transformer at Tegapur village with a new one, an ACB release said.
