AP Assembly adjourns over 'T'
The State Legislative Assembly adjourned without transacting any business on the second consecutive day on Tuesday following stalling of proceedings by the opposition parties.
Soon after the House assembled, the TRS demanded that the House pass a resolution recommending the formation of a separate Telangana state.
With the Speaker rejecting the adjournment motion, the TRS MLAs went to speaker podium forcing the speaker to adjourn the House for half an hour in the morning.
However, the uproar continued when the House met again, following which it was adjourned for the second time. As the Speaker did not agree to the TRS demand, the MLAs started shouting slogans against the government.
With the scene turning stormy, the Speaker was forced to adjourn the House for the day.
