'Another movement, if Kurnool not made the capital'
With AP Reorganisation Bill – 2013 becoming an act,the war of words among the leaders of various political parties is going on in full swing on the new capital for Seemandhra state.
Several leaders are demanding that the capital should be made in their respective districts.
The latest leader to make a statement on the issue is Union Minister for Railways, Kotla Suryaprakasa Reddy, who demanded that Kurnool should be made the new capital for Seemandhra.
He pointed out that Kurnool was once the capital for erstwhile Andhra state once.
“If Kurnool can’t be the capital, another Rayalaseema movement will be started," warned Kotla.
He said that those candidates who left Congress could not win in the next elections.
“The people won’t accept those candidates who change parties”, said the minister.
