AP CM YS Jagan Recalls The Services Of Father Of Modern Andhra, Kandukuri Veeresalingam
AMARAVATI: On the occasion of the 172nd birth of anniversary of social reformer and the father of renaissance movement in Telugu- Kandurkuri Veeresalingam Pantulu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister paid rich tributes to the great leader on Thursday.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister recalled the services of the great activist and termed the new-age pioneer as the father of modern Andhra. He had strived hard to work for the eradication of social evils and upliftment of women in society, in those days. He said that the great social reformer Kandukuri worked relentlessly to ensure that people of all sections of society were educated, he tweeted.
