Unfortunate That Chandrababu Using Sankranti Fest For Political Benefit: Vellampalli
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Vellampalli Srinivas lashed out Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu for asking people of the state to stop celebrating auspicious festival Sankranti.
Speaking to the media after he lit the ritualistic Bhogi bonfire near Indrakeelaadri Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada, the Minister said that, " the State Government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has allocated Rs 7 crore for the Sankranti celebrations." It is unfortunate that Chandrababu's is trying to make use of most important festival Sankranti for his political benefit.
Speaking further he said that,Chandrababu Naidu is very upset as all sections of people are happy under YSR Congress Party ruling, and the state is taking giant steps towards development and growth in all sectors under efficient ruling of AP CM.
The TDP chief on Bhogi day staged a protest and threw papers with GN Rao Committee and Boston Group Reports written on it, in the bonfires set as part of Bhogi celebrations as a mock burning of the recommendation reports.
On the other hand, Chandrababu along with his adopted son Pawan Kalyan is making attempts to gain political mileage by spreading false propaganda against state government proposal over three-capitals which will benefits all the people of the state.
In order to keep up his political existence and protect his properties in Amaravati he is holding unnecessary protests using the name of capital, the Minister said.
All the people of the State across cities, towns and villages are celebrating Sankranti as a mark of their happiness under YSRCP ruling, Vellampalli said while concluding the meet.
