AP Assembly Speaker Disagrees With TDP Allegations On YSRCP - Sakshi Post

AMARAVATI: The second day of the Andhra Pradesh Winter Assembly Sessions witnessed high drama with the TDP leaders creating a ruckus at the session on Tuesday morning.

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram expressed his displeasure over the allegations made by TDP members that the YSR Congress Party members turned the assembly into their party office. The Speaker advised the TDP leaders to withdraw their statements.

He also clearly stated that Vallabhani Vamsi was allowed to speak in the House by using his discretion as a Speaker, and added that it was his responsibility as the Speaker of the Legislature to give all members of the House an opportunity to speak.

Speaker further, he said that he was involved in the misdeed while in the TDP by not giving an opportunity to late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao to speak in the past.

The Speaker expressed his regret that he was away from power for more than 15 years due to the injustice meted to the founder of the party.

TDP rebel MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi expressed his outrage at TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh while speaking in the assembly session.

The TDP leaders were put in an award fix and they staged a walkout from the house raising slogans against the Speaker. They returned to the session only after he completed speaking.
