Dengue Kills Bride-To-Be In Chittoor
CHITTOOR: A young woman who was supposed to get married on October 30 died due to Dengue fever on Friday, November 1 in TVNR puram of Chittoor district.
According to the reports, the bride Chandrakala (18) daughter of Krishnanraju and Reddemma of TVNR Puram village in Narasimhapuram Panchayat of Chittoor district had to get married on the October 30. About four days ago she was diagnosed with fever and was rushed to Sholingar Government Hospital in Tamil Nadu and doctors conformed that she was infected with dengue. She was then shifted to Adukumbarai Government Hospital in Vellore. Chandrakala died while being treated at the hospital.
Doctors declared her dead on Friday and bride and groom's families have been mourning the death of her. However the authorities claimed that Chandrakala died due to fever but not of dengue.
In a similar incident another boy died due to dengue fever in Madanapalle. Charan Reddy, son of Manikanthara Reddy of Society Colony, was admitted to hospital three days ago after his health condition turned critical.
