Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh High Court issued a notice to the Jana Sena Party MLA Rapaka Vara Prasada Rao and the Razole Returning officer to furnish a counter with complete details in a petition filed against him on Tuesday. The Court had admitted and after hearing a petition filed by YSR Congress Party co-ordinator Bondu Rajeshwara Rao about the alleged rigging of ballot votes in the recently held elections.

Bondu Rajeshwara Rao approached the high court alleging that Vara Prasada Rao won in the AP assembly elections 2019 by rigging the ballot votes.

Responding to the petition, the high court directed Jana the Sena MLA and returning officer to file the counter and posted the hearing after three weeks.
