Singapore Officials Meet Mekapati To Discuss Skill Development Training
Amaravati: A six-people delegation of officials from Singapore met Andhra Pradesh Minister for Industries, Commerce, and Information Technology Mekapati Goutham Reddy, on Wednesday, at the secretariat and discussed skill development training programs.
The Minister had discussed setting up a skill development training centres at every parliament constituency in the state. ‘Soon, we will set up 25 skill development centres in the state and train the unemployed so that they will be capable of establishing the industries on their own. And we are heading towards it,’ said Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy to the Singapore officials.
He briefed to the Singapore officials about Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision on 75 per cent reservation in jobs for locals and it is given utmost priority.
“By using seaport, airport facilities the state government will create great opportunities to provide infrastructure facilities. We are striving to create maximum employment for the youth in the state,” said Minister.
