Reverse Tendering For Urban Housing Construction Projects: Botsa

Amaravati: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the government has opted for reverse tendering for all Urban Housing Construction Projects to maintain the transparency in the implementation of schemes in the state as said by the Honourable Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Botsa had ordered the officials concerned to conduct reverse tendering in APTIDCO, which is implementing the housing projects in line with the government.

After reviewing the progress and status of the housing projects which were being constructed under TIDCO, the minister had signed for the reverse tendering has to be done to the said constructions.

The Minister had finalized the process to be followed in the reverse tendering.

The decision of reverse tendering by the state government will reduce the cost of projects as well as the burden on the state’s exchequer. Also, the financial burden falls only on the beneficiaries of the projects.A
