Arrangements For Judicial Preview Of Irrigation Projects In Full Swing
Amaravati: Retired High Court Judge Justice B. Sivashankar Rao and AP State Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam have started all the arrangements for a judicial preview of the AP infrastructure bill.
Judicial preview is a great initiative that was brought by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) to make all the irrigation projects more transparent, by wielding out the corruption from the bottom level and to bring full transparency in governance.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led the YSR Congress party has set up Judicial Preview for AP infrastructure bill and handed over its judicial scrutiny of tenders to former High Court Judge B. Sivashankar Rao.
As per this decision of AP government, Sivashankar Rao and Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam started all the arrangements for the process and held a review meeting with all the concerned department heads and asked them to submit the required documents for judicial preview by the judge Sivashankar Rao.
According to the judicial preview Act, the state agencies or local authority of the state had to submit Rs. 100 crores. Once the Judicial Preview is reviewed, there is no need to go to the Prebid Negotiations in the relevant tender process.
The state government agencies or local authorities who plan to deal with the projects of the high budget of Rs.100 crores or above that are required to submit all the documents to the Judge for judicial preview, for transparent operations in the tenders.
Once the judicial preview is completed, there is no need to go to the Pre-bid Negotiations in the relevant tender process. The state government will not have any right to modify the documents once accepted by the judger in judicial preview.
