YS Jagan Pays Rich Tributes to Bhagat Singh On His Birth Anniversary
Amaravati: Bhagat Singh, an Indian socialist, revolutionary and freedom fighter was born on September 28, 1907. He is remembered for his extraordinary courage and heroism. He stood out for his bravery and exceptional patriotism. His writings, philosophies, and zeal for life continue to inspire and motivate millions even today.
He is considered to be one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian Independence Movement. He died at the age of 23 years. Following his execution, on March 23, 1931, his supporters and followers regarded him as Shaheed (martyr). From then his name is being taken as Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
Today, on the occasion of Bhagat Singh Jayanti, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to the social media micro blogging site Twitter, and paid tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He tweeted, "On this day a true star was born. My tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam #BhagatSingh, who proved that idea never die. May his life, sacrifice and courage continue to inspire us and generations ahead."
