100 Cows Meet Suspicious Death In Kotturu Tadepalli Gaushala

Krishna district: In a tragic incident 100 cows died in a Gaushala at Kothuru Tadepalli on the outskirts of Vijayawada. Some more cows are said to be in critical condition. The needle of suspicion is said to point to the feed on Friday night on the auspicious occasion of Friday of the month of Shravan.

It is being suspected that poisonous substances were mixed in the feed and police are investigating this angle. Veterinary doctors have stated that they can come to a conclusion after the post-mortem which is being conducted. According to local residents, 24 cows died on an earlier occasion of poisoning.
