Adimulapu Suresh Vows To Usher In Revolutionary Changes In Education
Kurnool: Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh promised that the YSRCP government would usher in revolutionary changes in the education sector.
He was attending a programme in Nandikotkoor on Monday in which he gardlanded former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, BR Ambedkar and Potti Sreeramulu.
Speaking to press persons on the occasion, he said the government would crack a whip on schools that do not comply with guidelines and asked private schools to fall in line with fee regulations brought in by the government.
In order to encourage public schooling in the State, he said that efforts were on to improve the standards and learning outcomes of the government schools, so as to dissuade people from opting private school education. He added that the government would take stern action against anyone who saw education through profit motive.
