1. AP CM YS Jagan, Union Minister Rajnath Singh To Visit Vizag Today
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are scheduled to arrive in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. Rajnath Singh is visiting Visakha for the first time after taking over as Defence Minister. He is scheduled to arrive in Vishakha at 11.45 am on Saturday by a special flight and will be participating in the subsequent Eastern Naval Command Meeting. CM YS Jagan will also participate in the event.
2. Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘illegal’ house served demolition notice
A demolition notice has been served on the house where former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been staying for four years on the banks of the Krishna in Undavalli. The building belongs to businessman Lingamaneni Ramesh.

In a brutal attack a mob of students attacked a young man with belts and stones. The incident took place at the Arts College in Anantapur three days ago but it came to light after the video of the attack went viral on social media. Going into the details, the victim, Rajesh who hails from Chengicherla in Dharmavaram Mandal has been pursuing B.Com first year in Anantapur Arts College.
4. Parents Kill Daughter, Dump Body In Well, Over Inter-Caste Marriage
Parents and family members of Hemavathi killed her for marrying outside their caste. They later dumped the body in a well outside the village. Police said that Hemavathi's family refused to accept her inter-caste marriage which took place more than two years ago. Only last week, the victim had given birth to a daughter and it was being felt that her father, Bhasker Naidu and other family members would now come around. But on Friday, when she was returning from the hospital, her parents, sister and other male members waylaid her and forcibly drove away on a bike with her. Later, was strangled and her body dumped in a well.
5. Close Shave For 20 Children After School Bus Rams Into Car On Eluru Road
It was a narrow escape for 20 school children who were on their way to school in a bus on Eluru road near Vijayawada. Eye witnesses said that the bus driver suffered seizures resulting in losing control over the wheels and ramming into a car. Worried parents rushed to the scene of mishap to check on their children. Eluru road is one of the busiest streets in the heart of Vijayawada.
