Ordinary Devotees Will Be Given Priority: TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy
Tirumala: After taking charge as Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam(TTD) chairman, YV Subba Reddy said his task was cut out. Ordinary devotees would be given priority and inconvenience caused to them would be minimised, he promised.
Subba Reddy was administered oath of office by TTD executive officer Anil Singhal in presence of MP V Vijayasai Reddy, Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Narayana Swamy and others.
He said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had instructed him to ensure that ordinary devotees should not suffer due to movement of high-profile devotees. He also promised to find a permanent solution to the drinking water issue, resolve the problems pertaining to Archakas, and investigate into allegations over ornaments of the deity.
