1. Vijayawada: KCR Invites Jagan To Kaleshwaram Inauguration

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the inauguration of the Kaleshwaram irrigation project on June 21. Chandrashekhar Rao, who flew to Vijayawada in the afternoon, accompanied by AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, attended the ceremony where the successor for the Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham was anointed in the presence of the Peetham’s head pontiff Swami Swaroopanandendra Saraswati.

A woman was killed while another was critically injured when a herd of elephants created panic in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday.The herd of elephants entered farming fields in Eetamanuguda village, where it attacked a 62-year-old woman named Savara Gayyaramma .

4. Gold Worth Rs 13 Lakh Recovered, 6 Held

Nellore police recovered gold worth Rs 13 lakh worth and cash after arresting the accused in two different cases on Monday. Chinna Bazar police, led by Circle Inspector Anwar Basha and SIs Balaramaiah and Premaiah along with a team of constables, held four accused, including a woman and a minor boy, involved in several burglaries in Nellore city.

5. Pending Road Works In Between Vizag And Bheemili To Begin Soon

The long-awaited pending works at five km-long Vizag-Bheemili Beach Road will begin shortly. It was proposed to construct 26-km long Vizag-Bheemili Marine Drive Road from Tenneti Park in the city to Bheemili as a tourist attraction.
