Chandrababu, A Compulsive Liar: YS Jagan

Amaravati: The fifth day of the Assembly saw a heated exchange of words between Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu on the issue of Special Status on Tuesday. The former said latter's platitudes on the crucial issue was akin to devils invoking vedas.

Despite the Union Cabinet approving the Special Status to Andhra Pradesh in 2014, YS Jagan said Chandrababu Naidu as chief minister did not write to the Planning Commission for its implementation. He rubbished Chandrababu's claims on the issue as a bundle of lies.

Accusing Chandrababu Naidu of any conviction on the issue, YS Jagan said the former had only responded nine months after NITI Aayog was formed until which no effort was made in that direction. "This shows his committment towards the issue. It is habitual for him to lie," he hit out.
