AP Assembly Pays Tributes To YS Vivekananda And Other Leaders

Amaravati: The fifth day of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh commenced at 9.00 am on Tuesday. The Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly paid tributes to former MPs M. Sanjeeva Reddy, YS Vivekananda Reddy, and B Subba Reddy, who passed away recently. The Assembly members further expressed sympathy to their families. At the commencement of the Assembly session this morning, Sabhapati Tammineni Sitaram introduced a condolence resolution. After the vote of thanks to the Governor's speech in the Assembly, the debate continued. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will answer this question.

At 11 am, the Deputy Speaker will hold the election. In the wake of the bifurcation, the state of Andhra Pradesh has incurred heavy financial losses due to which the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council are seeking the central government to accord special category status to AP. Following this, Chief Minister YS Jagan will make an announcement on special status and explain the necessity for the implementation of the special status, which was assured by the Parliament at the time of bifurcation.
