Attack On YS Jagan: BCAS Cites Clear Violation Of Norms
New Delhi: Seventeen days after the attack on YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the VIP lounge of the Visakhapatnam airport, another key point has come to light in the case conspiracy.
The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has responded to a letter filed on October 30 by Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy, who had led a team of YSRCP MPs, seeking a probe from various agencies, including the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), into the attack which took place in Vizag airport.
In the letter, the leaders demanded to know how NOCs were issued to the contractor and security permits were issued to both Harshawardhan Choudary (TDP leader and owner of Fusion Foods) and attacker Srinivasa Rao. The petition also wanted a clarification on how the Aerodrome Entry Permit was given to them.
In response to this petition the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security has clearly stated in their reply that Harshawardhan Choudary had no permission to conduct business at the airport and neither him nor the accused Srinivasa Rao had applied for an Aerodrome Entry Permit.
This shows a clear violation of security norms in the Visakhapatnam airport and without this permission both the owner of the restaurant in the VIP lounge and the accused were roaming freely in the Airport.
