ECR Launches Special Trains In AP To Battle Rush

Vishakapatnam: Special weekly trains have been introduced between Vizag - Tirupati, and Vizag - Secunderabad by the East Coast Railway to battle the rush of people in this district. A list showcasing the departure timings and dates of the train has been released by the ECR zone.

As there's a huge rush on Tirupati and Secunderabad train routes, ECR has taken this move to avoid inconvenience to the people. These special trains which would run on a weekly basis also come at a special fare when compared to other trains.

Date and Departures of the trains..

Vishakapatnam - Tirupati - Vishakapatnam

Train No.08573 Visakhapatnam - Tirupati weekly will leave to Tirupati on every Mondays at 10.55pm from 06.08.2018 to 29.10.2018 and reach Tirupati on the next day at 1.25pm.

And in the return journey train no. 08574 will leave to Vishakapatnam from Tirupati on every Tuesday at 3.30 pm from 07.08.2018 to 30.10.2018 which will reach Visakhapatnam on the next day morning at 6.50 am. The train halts at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta.

Vishakapatnam - Secunderabad - Vishakapatnam

Train No. 08501 will leave to Secunderabad from Vishakapatnam on every Tuesday at 11.00 pm from 07.08.2018 to30.10.2018 and reach Secunderabad on the next day at 12.00 pm. And in the return journey, the train bearing number 08502 depart from Secunderabad to Vishakapatnam on every Wednesday at 4.30 pm from 08.08.2018 to 31.10.2018 and reach Vizag on the next day4.50 am.

The train halts at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad in both the directions.

Keeping in mind the upcoming festive season, the ECR officials have arranged special trains for three months starting from August 8 to October 31.
