Payyavula Keshav Is PAC Chairman In AP
Amaravati: TDP MLA from Uravakonda in Anantapur district, a legislator for the fourth time will be the new Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman in Andhra Pradesh. Leader of Opposition in AP legislative assembly, Chandrababu Naidu, nominated Keshav to this post which is conventionally offered to the principal opposition party in the state. The same convention is historically followed in the parliament, as well.
It is learnt that several others were in the race, but the TDP chief finally zeroed in on Payyavula Keshav. Chandrababu is learnt to have sent a letter to the Speaker of Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly, Tammineni Sitaram, to this effect.
