Finance Minister Buggana To Begin AP Budget Preparations

Amaravati: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) P MLA Buggana Rajendranath Reddy from Dhone Assembly constituency took charge as the new Andhra Pradesh (AP) Minister for Finance and Planning and Legislative Affairs portfolios. With the budget session of the AP Legislative Assembly likely to commence on June 26, he will be conducting Budget preparatory sessions from the 19th of this month. Officials from all departments are said to attend the meeting and the Finance Minister will conduct review meetings with each of them. The budgetary reviews will be conducted till June 24.

As the vote-on-account budget passed by the previous TDP regime was meant for the first four months of the current fiscal, the new government will present the budget for the remaining eight months by the end of July.
