Voters Will Dislodge TDP Govt: GVL Narasimha Rao
New Delhi: BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would lose his post on May 23 and the voters would definitely dislodge the TDP government.
Speaking to press persons here on Thursday, he said the TDP government and Chandrababu Naidu was enacting dramas by holding review meetings when the Model Code of Conduct was in place. He alleged that the only aim of TDP leadership was to loot as much money as possible from the funds allocated to rescue and rehabilitation of people affected by cyclone Fani.
He said it was laughable to see Chandrababu Naidu holding review meetings at the fag end of his tenure as he had never thought about the welfare of farmers during the last five years. Chandrababu Naidu was unnecessarily politicising the election code, he added.
On the announcement of railway zone by the Central government, he said the Centre had done it only consulting the Election Commission of India. In fact, he said, when the announcement was made the Code did not come into existence by then. “This is nothing but mere politicisation on the part of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leaders,” he observed. He said politicisation of issues would only cause confusion and chaos among the people of the State.
