YSR Congress Party Slams TDP Over Data Theft
Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party spokesperson TJR Sudhakar Babu came down heavily on TDP ministers and leaders for their alleged involvement in the data theft that put the safe and security of citizens at stake.
Speaking to press persons here on Thursday, Babu said AP Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma had no right to speak about YSR Congress party general secretary Vijayasai Reddy. He pointedly asked the Minister why was the latter unable to stop the Karnataka government from constructing Almatti Dam, which put the interests of AP State on a backseat.
“Instead of answering the questions from the YSR Congress Party, the TDP is resorting to cheap politics by questioning our motives. This is despicable. Isn’t it true that the TDP leadership has directly involved in data theft and transferred the sensitive information of citizens to a private company called IT Grids?” he questioned.
He accused the TDP top leadership, Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh, of using its leaders only to trade barbs at YSR Congress when asked about the involvement of Ashok Dakavaram and the Special Investigation Team constituted to look into data theft.
The YSR Congress Party leader said Chandrababu Naidu was a frustrated soul, and the people of the State would teach him a lesson on May 23, when the election results would be out. He exuded confidence that the YSR Congress Party would get a comfortable majority and form the next government.
