GVL Flays CM Ramesh For Staging Search Operation Drama
Vijayawada: BJP Rajya Sabha MP and party national general secretary GVL Narasimha Rao described the police ‘search’ operation on TDP Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh as a drama enacted by the ruling party leader.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, GVL said that CM Ramesh deliberately got his house ‘searched’ by the police in a staged operation and added that this drama was exposed by an English newspaper.
GVL demanded that CM Ramesh apologise to the people of Andhra Pradesh for misleading the gullible public. TDP leaders were resorting to such dramas to gain sympathy at the time of elections, he further said. The BJP leader criticised the TDP saying that the party’s leaders were used to staging such dramas.
He demanded that the Election Commission take note of such staged incidents involving CM Ramesh and other TDP leaders who are acting out of fear of defeat in the April 11 elections. GVL appealed to the people of Andhra Pradesh to teach the TDP a lesson on polling day.
