YS Jagan Will Do Good For Telugus: Mohan Babu

Senior Telugu actor Manchu Mohan Babu took the political plunge on Monday. He joined the YSR Congress Party after meeting party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Lotus Pond Residence in Hyderabad. His son Manchu Vishnu also accompanied him.

After meeting the people's leader, the actor-turned-politician addressed a press conference at Park Hyatt Hotel. Addressing the media, Mohan Babu said that YS Jagan would certainly do good to the Telugus. He also exuded confidence that the YSRCP supremo will become the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

YSRCP will sweep the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, said Mohan Babu. Donning the YSRCP Kanduva, the senior Telugu actor said that he had no desire for post or power. He recalled his association with TDP founder the late NT Rama Rao.

Later, he said: “All parties invited me, whether it is the TDP, YSRCP or the BJP. It is my wish to join any party at any time. That is the nature of democracy. I will campaign for the YSRCP and follow whatever plans the party has for me."

He also said that there was enormous support for YS Jagan which was only soaring by the day.
