Question Mark Over Nara Lokesh’s Nomination

Nara Lokesh’s Nomination Papers
A question mark hangs over the nomination of Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's son and IT minister Nara Lokesh from Mangalagiri assembly constituency. There is anxiety in TDP ranks with the possibility of Lokesh's nomination getting rejected. Apparently, there is a technical flaw in the papers submitted by Nara Lokesh to the Returning Officer, Masooma Begum.
Nara Lokesh had submitted his nomination papers for Mangalagiri assembly constituency with his address in Undavalli village under Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district. His papers were notarized by lawyer Sitaram from Krishna district. YSRCP's Mangalagiri candidate Alla Ramakrishna Reddy questioned the notary's jurisdiction and sought a reply. Sitaram, Lokesh's notary sought time from the Returning Officer, Masooma Begum to clarify this point.
It is learnt that the nomination of Nara Lokesh would not stand scrutiny under the Notary rules. The YSRCP candidate from Mangalagiri, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy asked the Returning Officer, Masooma Begum to act as per rules in the matter. He sought impartial conduct from them in this issue. It is likely that Nara Lokesh's candidature could get rejected due to this technical flaw. Meanwhile there is criticism that the officials are under pressure from highr-ups to accept Lokesh's nomination.
