Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan Pact Out In The Open: YS Jagan
Pulivendula:The Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a scathing attack on Telugu Desam Party supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu, at a public meeting held in Pulivendula.
Along with a mammoth gathering in his home town, YS Jagan observed silence for two minutes as a mark of respect to his deceased uncle and YSRCP leader YS Vivekananda Reddy before commencing his address. He was all praise for the region and love bestowed by the locals upon his family.
YS Jagan remarked that the five years of Chandrababu administration were filled with lies and conspiracies. The ctizens of Andhra Pradesh have been cheated on many fronts. For instance, farmers were denied minimum support price, loan waivers, loans with zero per cent interest and irrigation projects which were completed by 90% too were not finished. The YSRCP chief pointed out that women were facing many problems and being hoodwinked with the Pasupu-Kunkuma scheme.
YS Jagan recalled that many youths eagerly awaited the completion of Kadapa Steel plant. This plant if operational can provide employment to 10,000 people, but this never took place and they had to leave AP in search of jobs, the YSRCP chief said. He assured the people gathered there that he had heard all their problems and will stand by them.
YS Jagan asserted that Chandrababu had come to power by backstabbing his father-in-law and did nothing for his own constituency, Kuppam. Chandrababu takes credit for development in Kuppam when he is in Pulivendula.
YS Jagan revealed that IIIT, JNTU, Veterinary Research Centre, a four-lane Highway from Kadapa to Pulivendula, TTD temple at the Gandi Shrine, Outer Ring Road in Pulivendula, establishment of NAC, a proper drainage system, Paidipalem project, and 90% of the Chitravati balancing project was built under former CM late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He questioned as to why Chandrababu why he did not finish the Gandikota project, micro-irrigation project and Kadapa Steel plant.
The people’s leader exhorted the public to vote for the YSRCP for a better future for the state.
He added, ”people of Pulivendula had encouraged my father, uncle, mother and stood by us after the sudden demise of my father Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. I seek your continued support to me as well.”
YS Jagan recalled that the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy showed how the TDP had vitiated the political scene in AP. It lowered public discourse by blaming the family after the murder committed by ruling party men. It is their media which presented a distorted image to the people about the entire case, he pointed out.
The YSRCP President predicted that TDP candidates would lose their deposits not only in Kadapa but across the state and under such circumstances they have started this conspiracy.
He exposed TDP’s intention that if YS Vivekananda Reddy is murdered then there would no strong personality for the YSRCP party in Jammalamadugu and Pulivendula.
It is learned that Chandrababu had ordered his cadre to commit political murders and put the blame on YSRCP. He pointed out,” it was Chandrababu, who implicated YS Jagan in the false cases while being in a secret alliance with the then ruling Congress party and under such circumstances, you stood by me.”
The YSRCP President observed that Chandrababu is making his partner to read out the script referring to actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan. Chandrababu is funding and distributing the tickets, while he is just an actor issuing B-forms to candidates.
The YSRCP chief added that the CBI officer Laksminarayana, who investigated the false cases against him has joined TDP and was contesting from the Bhimili constituency. As people saw through his game, he sent the CBI officer to his partner’s party.
As the partner went to file his nomination papers, TDP flags were seen fluttering. Chandrababu is desperately trying to curtail the votes to be polled for the opposition party, he said.
YS Jagan requested the cadre to take forward the benefits of Navaratnalu being offered by YSRCP to every household. He cautioned them about Chandrababu’s moneybags to buy votes.
