Chandrababu Responsible For Kondaveedu Farmer’s Death: YS Jagan
Hyderabad/Kondaveedu: YSR Congress Party Chief and leader of the opposition Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lashed out against the tyrannical ways of the AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
A farmer died in Kothapalem near Kondaveedu where the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu participated in an event there on Monday.
Pittala Koteswara Rao, alias Kotaiah, a Muthrasi from the BC community, was cultivating papaya on his land at Kothapalem. The police who wanted to make arrangements for the CM's helicopter to land there and had forcibly taken over his land. When he objected and resisted their move he was allegedly thrashed and beaten by the police. Later he was found dead by his family members.
The Leader of Opposition in AP assembly expressed his anguish against the incident and took to Twitter questioning as how could anyone be so barbaric and inconsiderate towards the poor farmer. Squarely blaming the CM for the farmer's death, he tweeted that instead of showing compassion how could the Chief Minister be so inhuman towards the poor , he asked in his tweet. "You ruined a poor farmer's papaya plantation to ensure your helicopter's landing", pointing to the chief minister's lack of humanity.
