TDP Minister Akhila Priya Frets Over Police Searches On Houses Of Aides
Allagadda: TDP Minister Akhila Priya was left fuming with anger over the issue of her aides' houses being searched. Expressing her anger, she asked the gunmen provided by the government to leave. Later she also refused to be accompanied by the local SI.
On Wednesday midnight, houses of second rung leaders from various political parties were searched by the police. At this time, the houses of Minister Akhila Priya's supporters were also searched, and the leaders took this matter to her notice.
An irked Akhila Priya asked the police for the reason behind the sudden searches on her aides' houses. Police officials replied that they followed orders issued to them by their superiors. Furious over the action of the policemen, she asked her gunmen to leave.
The gunmen reported the incident to higher officials, who tried to pacify her but their attempts did not calm her. Akhila Priya participated in the Janmabhoomi- maa vooru program in the villages of Thondapalli, Narasapuram village, Rudravaram mandal.
Later local policemen provided security, when she participated in the door to door campaign. The police escorted her but annoyed by their presence, minister Akhila Priya expressed her displeasure over the police personnel. However, it would be pertinent to note that houses of leaders from all parties were under the scanner.
