Jolt To Chandrababu As Senior TDP Leaders From Chittoor Join YSRCP
Chittoor: In a jolt to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, TDP MPP from Peddathippasamudram mandal in the district, Konda Geethamma and Konda Sidharth today joined the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) along with their supporters in the presence of Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress party (YSRCP) YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is on a mass contact programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Salur constituency of Vizianagaram district.
Former MPs Mithun Reddy and Dwarakanath Reddy were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mithun Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu lacked confidence in his party leaders. It could be inferred from the fact that the Konda family resigned from the party after serving the party for a long time, he added.
Recalling the attack on YS Jagan, the YSRCP MP said Chandrababu should focus on public issues rather than looking for publicity. He said that the TDP leaders were planning to leave the party after its irregularities were exposed.
Konda Siddharth said that the Telugu Desam lacked values which existed during the rule of late Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. After serving TDP for 40 years, I am resigning from the party due to lack of respect and value within the party, he revealed.
