YSRCP Files Petitition In HC Seeking Probe In YS Jagan Attack
Hyderabad: Senior leader of the YSR Congress party (YSRCP) YV Subba Reddy filed a petition seeking a third party investigation in the dangerous knife atatck against Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam Airport. In the petition, the former MP stated that the attitude of the State government and the AP Police was suspicious in nature.
Requesting a comprehensive investigation on the matter, the YSRCP leader said in the petition that there was a conspiracy behind the attack on the Leader of Opposition. "An investigation by a sitting Judge or a Central investigative agency should be carried out," he asked in the petition.
On Monday, the Court will hear proceedings in the petition. On the other side, another Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed seeking a CBI investigation in the incident. The proceedings of the PIL would be heard on Tuesday.
