Andhra Jyothi Radhakrishna in AP High Court

Andhra Jyothi Managing Director, Radhakrishna appeared before the AP High Court in connection with the contempt of court case.

It may be recalled that the court had issued a showcause notice to Radhakrishna and the case was adjourned as he failed to show up for the last hearing.

In the past, Andhra Jyothi had falsely reported that the High Court had granted permission for sand mining in Guntur district. In this regard, high court judge Justice Narasimha Reddy had taken the details of the authorities involved in the case.

The court revealed that it had not granted any permission for sand mining and that Andhra Jyothi had published false news in this respect. The Telugu paper now faces Suo motu and contempt of court case.
