Actress Anjali faces arrest?

Looks like actress Anjali of 'Seethamma Vatkitlo Sirimalle Chettu' fame has not changed her mind and determined not attending the court hearings.

On Wednesday, Anjali once again failed to turn up at the court in connection with the defamation case filed against her.

It may be recalled that Tamil film director Kalanjiyam filed a petition at Saidapet Court in Chennai that Anjali’s remarks had hurt the sentiments of his supporters. Responding to the petition, the court issued summons to Anjali directing her to appear before it on June 5.

Earlier, the court directed the police to produce the actress before it on May 24. Anjali failed to appear both the times. The court also expressed anger at the police for not presenting Anjali and warned that she would be issued an arrest warrant.

Kalanjiyam requested the court to issue a arrest warrant against Anjali. The court has posted the next hearing in the case to June 19. Police are likely to arrest her. The court might also soon issue an arrest warrant.
