Amaravati Ceremony Venue Under SPG Control

The new AP capital Amaravati foundation laying ceremony venue at Uddandarayunipalem has been taken into control by Special Protection Group (SPG).
A team of 100 SPG officials have taken control of the venue area and the dais, helipad and the route of Prime Minister's travel from the helipad to the venue were thoroughly inspected by the team. SPG IG Piyush Pandey is giving instructions to the SP, Collector and local police on the security arrangements. A trial run is being conducted between the helipad and the venue. 12,000 police personnel are on the security duty.
