Altercation at Tirumala before CM's arrival

Two security personnel had an argument and resorted to fight near the main entrance of the temple on Sunday, hours before Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his family members were scheduled to reach the sacred hills.

According to sources, while one security man was identified as a constable of Special Protection Force, the other was a private security guard. In the ensuing fight, the private security guard hit the SPF constable on the head resulting in serious injuries to him.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and after a first aid was moved to Ashwini hospital in Tirupati. TTD EO D Sambasiva Rao ordered an enquiry into the incident directed officials to take strict action on both the personnel.

Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his family members along with Telugu film actor N Balakrishna and his family members are expected to arrive in Tirumala on Sunday.
