State government has raised the upper age limit by six years making it to 40 from 34 years

Amaravati: Giving a huge relief to the unemployed youth, the state government has raised the upper age limit by six years making it to 40 from 34 years for those appearing competitive exams.

Similarly, age relaxation for the reservation categories would also be applicable

Meanwhile, two-year relief has been given for those who wants to join in uniformed services like police. Incidentally, the government has given the relaxation only for a year.

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and other recruitment agencies have been informed about the change and have been directed to follow the revised guidelines. Similarly, age relaxation for the reservation categories would also be applicable.
