After IIT Nuzvid, Juniors of Kurnool Medical College Ragged

Kurnool: Days after Nuzvid IIIT suspended 54 students for ragging juniors, another incident has surfaced at Kurnool Medical College, where first years students were ragged by the seniors.

The principal has ordered an inquiry and a complaint was also lodged at III-Town police station. The harrowed students said that they were made to clean up the bathrooms, wash their clothes and were even forced to go for blood transfusions in the middle of night. The incident happened on late Tuesday night but came to light on Wednesday.

The principal Dr GS Ramprasad called for “attitudinal change ”from“ primitive sociological practices" and said action will be taken against the studnets for the unlawful act. Incidentally, three students were convicted of ragging in the same college eight years ago.
