Kovuru Rural:  A technical assistant of Hyderabad Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) had allegedly shot hundreds of letters to Kovuru division civilians stating that they must deposit Rs. 15,000 into his account in order remove their names in the ACB’s wanted list.

One A.Lakshmi Narayan, who identified himself as technical assistant at Hyderabad ACB headquarters, on Thursday shot letters to Kovuru division civilians stating that Eluru Range DSP was in the process of sending their names to Hyderabad ACB DSP for conducting raids and asked them to deposit a sum of Rs 15.000 into his SBI account in order to remove their names in ACB’s wanted list.

Narayan stated in the letter that one of the officers in the head section was with him.

The letter created confusion and panicked recipients registered a complaint and are demanding a probe into Narayan’s mischief.
