9-year jail term for American Indian

Washington: American Indian Amit Chaudhuri has been arrested in a money laundering case in United States. The offender was arrested for stealing credit card information and has defrauded to a tune of Rs.166.96 crore ($ 25 million).

The Virginia court handed out 9 years of imprisonment to Chaudhuri. The court has accepted the charges framed in September 2016 and imposed a fine of 4.1 million dollars on Choudhury. Amit Chaudhuri has got American citizenship in 2011. The culprit has stolen information about hundreds of credit cards and laundered their money.
