4 held for raping Intermediate student

Hyderabad: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by four youths in Yacharam area on the outskirts of the city.

The Intermediate second year student went to answer nature calls when the incident happened. The incident occurred on Wednesday night in a field at Old Mall Colony. A case was registered against Venkatesh, Chinna, Shanker and Vijay under Nirbhaya Act after the girl lodged a complaint, said Yacharam police station inspector J Madan Mohan Reddy. The four accused were taken into custody and are being questioned.
